Jake attended his first Beefmaster sale at the young age of 2 weeks old. The son of Tim Couch, a sales manager and herd consultant in the Beefmaster breed since 1993. Jake got the opportunity to visit and deal with some of the most legendary breeders to ever breed Beefmaster cattle. Where he quickly became very passionate about old school Beefmaster genetics. Jake began his own herd of Beefmasters at age 12 and hasn’t looked back since. Jake and his wife Kaylie raise two sons Kayce Lane and Cody Wayne.
Here at Couch Cattle Co. we specialize in breeding great functional animals that do well in and out of the show ring. We have spent over 15 years putting together top end genetics from Harrod Farms, Lee Adair, Steve and Cindy Emmons, and L2 beefmasters just to name a few. We strive to produce quality seedstock genetics utilizing tier one genetics to do so. Putting emphasis on easy fleshing, big boned, deep bodied cattle that will go out and preform.
